TOAD-SPO - March '22

Posted by Taylor Krz on

Artist: Colleen Elizabeth Art

When I think of March, I think of GREEN! You can smell spring in the air, trees are starting to grow their leaves again, and there is an underlying excitement for longer days. Some folks may love earthy tones but struggle to add it into their quilt. Oftentimes, adding a few earthy tones can muddy your color palette, but done correctly you can actually leave space to make those pops of color even more vibrant! Hopefully, this blog will give you a better idea how to incorporate some earthy tones into your quilts! Enjoy!

MOOD COLLAGE

I absolutely love everything Colleen Elizabeth Art creates. Even though she typically gravitates to completely different color palettes that I tend to use - I just love how simple and clean her paintings are. She also creates paint by number kits if you want to make your own!  See below a color palette inspired by Colleen's work!
